Item details

A present-like prize that can be exchanged for 25 Festival Tickets by Kao Tseng, or picked-up during Dragon Festival 2007 finale in case of victory against the "enemy."

Opening the prize has a chance of giving one of the following:

Given the above distribution and the fact that 10 Tokens can be traded to Victory Token Rewards NPC for Red Bean Cake or a Bottle of Rice Wine the minimum value of a Boardwalk Prize is 200g.

Note: This is most likely a complete list. At no point is 'nothing' awarded for opening a gift. One of the four above listed items is always given. The percentages are based on 3,500 gifts opened.

Caution: Boardwalk Prizes do not give miniature pets or unique weapons (such as a non-existent 'Mhenlo's Staff'). Some people are attempting to sell prizes for large amounts of gold claiming you can get one.

[edit] Festival Prizes

During the Dragon Festival these prizes were known as Festival Prizes. Festival Prizes that were left over from the event have been renamed to Boardwalk Prizes as of Oct. 20, 2006. Festival Prizes offered a different selection of rewards. Opening the prize has a chance of giving one of the following:

In the Dragon Festival 2007 redux, these prizes were (incorrectly) spelled "Fesitval Prizes", and they are assigned to the players near whom they are dropped, which means they cannot be picked up by other players before their assignation expires.

As of the Third Birthday Event the prizes are known as Festival Prizes.

[edit] Prices

  • 1 Festival Ticket = 15 gold
  • 1 Boardwalk Prize = 25 Festival Tickets = 375 gold

For maximum profit, sell the Festival Tickets back to the vendor. The profit then is 375 gold for 25 tickets opposed to an expected 200 gold for the Boardwalk Prize.
