A weapon with a "Cruel" name prefix is equipped with a weapon upgrade of the same name:

• Cruel Axe Haft
• Cruel Dagger Tang
• Cruel Hammer Haft
• Cruel Scythe Snathe
• Cruel Spearhead
• Cruel Sword Hilt

There are no Cruel Bows or Staves available.

A Cruel weapon upgrade lengthens the applied Deep Wound duration on a foe by 33%.

[edit] Notes

• When equiping a Cruel weapon, deep wound caused by any skill will increase the duration, even if it's self targeted, such as "It's just a flesh wound."
