The Dwarven Axe is a unique-looking axe that is sometimes seen in the hands of Dwarven NPCs. The axe head appears to be made of fused or melted stone.

Dwarven Axes are now semi-rare (which were formerly comparable in rarity to the famed Crystalline Swords) and do not drop from monsters; they were only found from unlocked chests in high-level areas (the quest chests that appear in Kilroy Stonekin in Sorrow's Furnace, the chests that appear after completing some quests in The Underworld and The Fissure of Woe, and the chest in the Hall of Heroes). Since the introduction of GW:EN, Dwarven Axes are much more easily obtainable. Perfect blue inscribable Dwarven Axes can be crafted by Hulen Hairyback in Central Transfer Chamber for 5 platinum, 20 wood planks and 40 iron ingots (You must have at least rank 4 in Deldrimor Title Track). Perfect gold inscribable versions can be found in some dungeons in GW:EN.

Applying dye to a Dwarven Axe will turn the part connecting the blade and the handle a dull color of whatever dye was applied.

Dwarven Axes use the same inventory picture as Tasca's Axe, a Sorrow's Furnace quest item.
