Not sure what "doesn't work" mean. Main Page is untouched, so if you have that directly bookmarked you won't see a difference when visiting the bookmark (but if you just go to "gw.gamewikis.org" or "guildwars.wikia.com", or click on the logo or the link to main page in the sidebar, then you should land on the April Fools page). There are some CSS/JS changes that might not affect you if they are still cached, but those only affect the theme, not which page you land on. -User:PanSola (talk to the ) 02:21, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I was pressed for time, and there was a design choice involved: I don't want to get rid of any link that's on the regular Main Page. In the past GuildWiki didn't do April Fools pranks, part of the reason was it may interfere with main page functionality. I didn't protect the page, so if any of you want to mod it to be more like WoWWiki's real homepage, feel free to do so (just make sure you preview so as to not break it in-between tweaks!) Wonderful joke :) I didn't notice the URL at first and I really love how the links on the page manage to point to other things on the GW-wiki. Have a sysop edit MediaWiki:mainpage to make it say "Main Page". My personal plan is to keep it until PDF midnight (which would make the prank last approximately 36 hours).
