Hierophant Burntsoul is the leader of the Charr Shaman caste. After the death of the Titans he tries to manipulate the Charr warbands into believing that the Destroyers are their new gods. During the Assault on the Stronghold mission he plans to sacrifice Captain Langmar and her soldiers to the Destroyers. It is hinted that he is insane; at Sacnoth Valley he releases the Destroyers, maintaining that he is perfectly aware that there is a good chance they will kill him.
