Hunter's Ale is received after completing the Bear Hunters quest in Regent Valley (Pre-Searing) or from collectors in Cantha and Istan. Excessive consumption of the brew causes the screen to temporarily blur and erratically zoom in and out. Using Hunter's Ale in a town or outpost will cause your character to become drunk for one minute.
Beware drinking several tankards in rapid succession. This may result in a loss of balance, and inhibitions. In Factions, Hunter's Ale has become an item that can be received from collectors for Imperial Commendations, Monastery Credits, Luxon Totems, and Equipment Requisitions with the same effect. In Nightfall, you can trade Battle Commendations for the beverage at the Sunspear Great Hall and Ancient Artifacts at the Gate of Desolation.
