• This item was added in the March 6th 2008 update. However, unlike the other weapons added in this update (which were selected from the top entries in the 2007 Design-a-Weapon Contest), this weapon was designed by an in-house artist.

• Obsidian is a very dark, naturally occuring volcanic glass. Like most glasses, it is fairly hard and capable of taking and holding a razor edge, but is brittle.
