- Consider using Death Nova before killing your minions at once.
- Animate Vampiric Horror has a good synergy with this skill for the healing the increased damage and attack rate gives. A Bone Fiend, however, is the optimal choice for the surviving minion as it already has the fastest attack speed, and thus benefits the most from the buffs.
- Shambling Horrors killed with this skill will still spawn a Jagged Horror when they die, leaving a small minion army still alive.
