Full: Target foe and all nearby foes are struck with Searing Flames. Foes already on fire when this skill is cast are struck for 10...82 fire damage. Foes not already on fire begin Burning for 1...6 seconds.
Concise: Hits foes near your target. Deals 10...82 fire damage to foes already Burning. Inflicts Burning condition (1...6 seconds) to foes not Burning.

[edit] Acquisition
Signet of Capture:
- Synergizes well with Glowing Gaze, due to its high energy cost.
- "They're on Fire!" synergizes extremely well with Searing Flames for AoE damage reduction in PvE.
- Combine with Mark of Rodgort to maintain burning on several foes.
- It is best to bring some energy management skills to deal with the high energy cost.
- If the target is immune to burning due to Frigid Armor or Avatar of Melandru, or has a species immunity in PvE, Searing Flames will never do damage to them, as they will not meet the burning requirement.
