Got mine from a Buried Treasure as well, the one in Mirror of Lyss. The mods it came with are bleh, but since those are replacable, I like the skin, and it's max, req 9, inscriptible, I'm happy with it. This item is also findable a drop from the yetis in jaya buffs, i got a perfect gemstone axe of axe mastery with the damage +15% above 50% health mod 142.161.72.58 13:39, 20 May 2007 (CDT)

Not a bad question. Steel is listed as the rare salvage, so you probably can't(most items don't have more than 1 rare salvage possibility), but without testing(possibly a LOT of testing) we won't know for sure. And since these axes sell reasonably well, a lot of people won't want to salvage them. DKS01 04:58, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
