Template talk:If-Then
From GuildWiki
Can someone help me with this? I want it to show when I'm online on my Wiki page. I tried:
{{If-Then|if=User:Mattman243=online|then='''This user is online.'''}}
I've tried many variations of this, can anyone help? Mattman243 15:39, 21 February 2007 (CST)
I'm afraid it's not that simple ? I think you'll need something more than '=online' to check whether you're online or not. But then again, I didn't even knew we could use templates like this :p --Erszebet 15:51, 21 February 2007 (CST)
- Ya, I didn't think so. I'm sure I'll need to create a template that checks if I'm online and impute it into this. I just need some help on the process. Mattman243 17:50, 21 February 2007 (CST)
If this is being deprecated, then it looks like three templates will need to be updated to use Parser Functions:
I'll leave it to someone more familiar with parser functions to fix. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 18:07, 21 February 2007 (CST)
- Quick ParserFunctions question, how do I make {{#if:{{PAGENAME}}<notequals>Blastedt|<small>This was shamelessly stolen from Blastedt.</small>}} ? What do I put as a "Does Not Equal" sign? Thanks —

- #ifeq. Read the section for it on metawm:ParserFunctions. --Fyren 19:18, 21 February 2007 (CST)
- Thanks. —

- Case is deprecated. The skill boxes are "historic." They're only used on user pages/talk pages as examples during redesign discussions. --Fyren 19:11, 21 February 2007 (CST)
