[edit] Description
Puk Grum is an Ascendant human Warrior from the Tyrian continent. He is also Dashface's brother. Puk is a big fan of hitting things, and hitting them damn hard. One of his favourite pasttimes is to venture out into unchartered territory with his brother and learn more of the world, killing everything in his path along the way.
Among other things, Puk enjoys swinging his sword, running things through, and generally having a good time. Very few people who meet him can resist the urge to rub his big bald head for good luck, and it seems that it actually does work! Puk has a wife and child back home, Pukina and Pukette. An avid swordsman, he vows to defend them from all things evil, so thats why he left them back on Tyria is now fighting battles approximately 26,000 kilometres away. Jerk.
Puk took part in the Flameseeker Prophecies, and along with a handful of other heroes, including the intrepid Dashface, put a stop to the Lich's designs on mass destruction. He still has that egg he stole from Glint.
After a short interlude of doing very little and plenty of it, Puk embarked on an adventure to Cantha where he disembarked and met Togo. Becoming Weh No Su, he then set his sights on the elusive Shiro Tagachi and valiantly defended Cantha's populace, when he a small band of thugs stormed Shiro's sanctuary and struck him down. Luckily there was no screaming involved this time.In the latest chapter of Puk and his epic adventures, he and a band of merry men set out to save all of Elona from a bad wrong, there should be a stronger word for it, like Abadong, yes... destructive god Abadong. Killing is Badong, and Abadong had his sights set on plenty of it. Travelling to vast open landscapes, Dashface, Puk and their Heroic counterparts accompanied Kormir as the blind led the blind in a wild goose chase that resulted in an anti-climactic "Good Luck - BYE!" word of encouragement from 5 very lazy demi-gods. Hoisting up his belt buckle, tucking in his shirt, adjusting his GEAR, and straightening his tie, Puk and co. entered the Realm of Torment and took on the shackled god, face to face. Elona was once again returned to normal. Saved by the deeds of those aforementioned.
Ever since having conquered foes of such magnitude, Puk has endeavoured to focus on self improvement, and along with Dashface, has captured the essence of many powerful foes all over the world of Tyria, including the continent itself aswell as Cantha and Elona. This focus, along with the acquistion of much material wealth and assets has given rise to the new armor set that Puk now wears that was purchased in Istan. A gleaming silver armour, fit only for an axeman.
Now in his most recent escapades, Puk and his fighting team of cohorts have once again returned to his homeland of Tyria. The Eye of the North as is known, has been calling him non-stop, and it seems that his taste of Elona has again seen him don a new latest suit of armor as Puk takes up the spear and unleashes the power of the Sun, with his.. spears.
Upon arriving home on the shores of distant Tyria, Puk and his followers reunited in arms with Dashface the Monk. It wasn't long before the eruptions and earthquakes of the land guided the team of seismologists to an underground crevasse whereupon a stout figure by the name of Odgen Gayhealer met them and pronounced his undying love for potato chips. Oddly confused and somewhat amused, our heroes were interrupted by reports of wild beasts rampaging toward them. In a panic and with no sense of direction, Ogden, Vekk and assorted others made their escape to Boreal Station with Puk and Dash. Jora, a Norn they met, decided not to eat them. Instead, she rubbed Puk's bald head for good luck (as you do) and set out after the vile and malevolent, Cursed Nornbear! Or as she calls him, bro.
Having trudged through a couple miles of snow, the mighty band of heroes came across a large seemingly sentient and unoccupied Fortress of Solitude. Or as it was actually called by its occupants, the Eye of the North. Drawing his gaze to the steps, Puk's eyes at last rested facing north, and met with a small young girls. Familiar looking he mused to himself. "Gwen!!" exclaimed Dashface, and the 3 were again reunited from their adventures in undestroyed Tyria, from back in the homeland. "I still got your flute and cape!" grinned Dashface.
Realising the need to conquer the Destroyers coming from the underground, Puk and co set out to align themselves as best they could with the Dwarves, the Asura, the Norn and the Ebon Vanguard, led by Captain Langmar. As the new sights of previously undiscovered land filled their eyes, our heroes learned new powers and developed even further in their repetoires. Puk also decided to take up the Hammer, truly for the first time, and invested in a really cool looking suit of armor! Plowing through countless Charr, many Modniir, hundreds of Destroyers and only a couple dinosaurs (Dashface: "Ahhhhh T-Rex! RUUUUN!") The Powerhouse, as Puk coined them, drew near to the Central Transfer Chamber, where the team met a powerful Disc of Chaos. The battle raged, and steel and magic flashed across the room, until finally at last.. Puk used res sig on Tahlkora and she rebirthed the whole team. Then, triumphantly, the Powerhouse overcame the mighty flaming Disc, and took its domain as a base of operations from which to launch a final strike on the Central Nervous System of the entire Destroyer army. The Great Destroyer itself.
Drawing inspiration from how far they'd come, the friends they'd won, and the loot they'd scored, Puk and Dashface drew great comfort in the final battle to come from Extinguish. Literally. The lair of the Great Destroyer was friccin burnies!
As Puk's hammer hit home on the skeletal looking beast for the penultimate time, its grimace and subsequent roar of pain filled Puk with adrenaline and he raised his hammer once more! Slowly, it came down in glorious power on the defeated carapace of a once mighty advesary. ------======******CRUNCH!******======------. Victorious, exhausted, and a bit peckish, the Powerhouse headed home with their victory forever under their belts, until they next time they handed in their quest log books. They returned to their allies triumphant - and for now, Tyria is once again ruled by relative peace.
