White Moas can be tamed as pets by using the Ranger skill, Charm Animal.

All spawns are random, meaning you may have to re-enter the area multiple times before you see them.
- Far Shiverpeaks
- Drakkar Lake (spawn outside Sifhalla, run south to Norrhart Domains)
- Jaga Moraine (spawn in northeast corner, run south to Bjora Marches)
- Varajar Fells (spawn outside Olafstead, run north to Drakkar Lake)

- Unlike most other tamable animals, they do not appear as "friendly" creatures (green triangle in compass map) but instead are "neutral" creatures (yellow triangle). Because of this, they will not turn hostile when you start charming them, meaning that you cannot death-level them.
- The easiest location to tame one is outside Olafstead, as they will run north towards you as you leave the outpost.
- They run in large flocks, making it possible for multiple party members to tame one at the same time.
